WR12X20857 is a GE refrigerator door-handle assembly used on older side-by-side refrigerator families. Parts Dr also identifies WR12X11060 as a previous part number associated with this service part.

What the current supply check shows

As checked August 26, 2026, Parts Dr reports GE discontinued WR12X20857, its suppliers cannot provide it, and no substitute is available to them. GE’s own product page says the model is no longer being manufactured, and model-specific Sears listings also report no manufacturer substitute.

Check the normal market first

Used handles and old stock can still surface, and those should be checked before commissioning a reproduction. Search by the exact part number and exact refrigerator model rather than matching a handle only by appearance.

PartAgain status

PartAgain is researching whether WR12X20857 or a smaller failure-prone mounting component is a better reproduction target. No PartAgain version has been physically validated yet, and we do not currently claim inventory or fit.
